Annual Events at Buttonwood
April: Earth Month Walks in the Orchards, Vineyards and Gardens
Each weekend during Earth Month we offer a different walking tour of Buttonwood - tour the organic peach, pear and olive orchards with Fred; check out the flower and herb gardens with Seyburn and Abel; hike the vineyards with Karen and Stan.
May: Biannual Crawfish Boil
Echoing the Williams family's Louisiana roots, this traditional Cajun boil happens every two years. The spicy "mudbugs" are perfectly complemented by the Rosé of Syrah. Zydeco music will get you dancing. Next boil: 2014.
June: Red, White & Blues
Buttonwood Farm joins with our fellow winery, Longoria, to host this annual celebration of the blues. Bring chairs and picnics and your dancing shoes!
August: All-Farm Dinner
Everything on the table is raised on the farm - the wines, the food, the flowers, the herbs. In past years, we even arranged for the full moon to rise just at sunset and for a meteor shower. Under the cottonwood trees, next to the vineyard, a very magical night.
October: Vineyard Walk & Brunch
Join winemaker Karen Steinwachs in a morning stroll through the vineyard, with tastes of wines next to the appropriate vines. Followed by brunch at the Pond.
