Sherry & Art Hibbits

Wines from Hibbits Ranch Vineyard

Sherry and Art Hibbits are long-time friends of everyone at Buttonwood. The Hibbits Ranch is about 25 miles west of us, just outside Lompoc and just inside the Sta. Rita Hills appellation, justly famous for its Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines.

Hibbits Ranch is now a permanent Agricultural Conservation Easement to be held by the Land Trust for Santa Barbara County, of which Betty was a founder.

Chardonnay, Hibbits Ranch, Sta. Rita Hills

Pinot Noir, Hibbits Ranch, Sta. Rita Hills

All about cool-climate, Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir with white pepper, sassafras, cola and black cherry aromas seductively wafting from the glass.  The entry is smoooooth, silky, elegant and classy and delivers predominant cherry notes that mingle with raspberry, fresh blueberry and hints of rocky earth.
